Review & Description
This octagonal PTFE stir bar features an Alnico V magnetic core which is one of the most powerful permanent magnet alloys available. Made of PTFE®, the PTFE thickness accounts for 18% of the stir bar diameter. Stir bar should not be stored in a random mass or dropped on a hard surface, especially steel. Stir bar should be stored in pairs to maintain magnetic strength. Material: PTFE. Length: 38mm (1-1/2 inch). OD: 8mm (5/16 inch). Dynalon® #: 303275-0007.
